Cancelled and Postponed Events
If the Michigan Princess cancels an event, we will contact you using the information you provided. You have the option to select another event of equal or lesser value within one year of your original booking. Alternatively, you can choose a higher-priced event and pay the difference, or you may request a refund.
Refunds & Exchanges
Passenger safety is our top priority. The Michigan Princess Riverboat aims to cruise for all scheduled events, but safety concerns may require events to occur dockside without cruising. In such cases, refunds will not be issued. The captain makes the final call on cruising. Please note, our boat is open to weather conditions and we do not offer refunds for events affected by weather. Ensure your event and date are correct before buying tickets, as we do not offer exchanges or refunds once a ticket is purchased, nor for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets. However, non-refundable tickets can be moved to another date for an additional fee. Contact our office for details and conditions.
All Sales are FINAL.
The Michigan Princess Riverboat accepts several methods of payment to accommodate your needs, including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept checks, but they must be received within 5 days of booking your tickets; otherwise, your tickets will be invalid. If your event is within 5 days of your booking and you need to pay by check, please call our Michigan Princess office to discuss payment options.
If you do not receive a confirmation (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with the Michigan Princess Riverboat whether or not your order has been placed. Only you may be aware of any problems that may occur during the purchase process. It's important to verify this, as the Michigan Princess will not be responsible for any losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume an order was not placed due to a lack of confirmation.
Billing Information Verification
Orders are processed only after we verify your billing address and other billing information. Occasionally, incorrect billing or credit card details can delay order processing and delivery. In such cases, our customer service team will try to contact you using the information you provided. If we're unable to reach you after several attempts, your order may be canceled and your tickets may be sold to another customer.
Please print your confirmation as soon as it appears in your web browser if you purchase tickets online. Remember to bring valid photo identification. For phone purchases, the information provided at purchase is where your receipt will be sent.
The Michigan Princess collects personal information, including your name, address, phone number, credit card details, and billing information, when you purchase tickets or a gift certificate. This data is processed in accordance with the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) to ensure security. We do not share or sell your information to other companies.
